Tropical Eastern Pacific (TEP) is a bio-geographic zone that spams from South America to North America comprising a wide range of ecosystems like mangroves, estuaries, sand beaches, rocky and coraline reefs. Fish are very important components in all those ecosystems. The TEP is very relevant for its high levels of endemic fish species.
